Product management

From an idea to a product people use

jCode runs its products the way an experienced product owner would: product management from discovery to release, prioritised by value, measured after launch and maintained over time. The same discipline goes into client work.

  1. Start from a problem worth solving

Each product starts from a need seen in the field: planning training for WorkoutGen, cited context for Ragmir.

  2. Set a vision and measurable outcomes

Who each product serves and what success looks like, then each release judged by its outcomes, not its features.

  3. Validate before building

Ideas meet users before they are built, and a state-certified coach validated WorkoutGen's program engine.

  4. Prioritise and ship in small steps

A backlog ordered by value, acceptance criteria on each item, and small reversible releases on four platforms.

  5. Measure, listen and iterate

Usage analytics, store reviews and support requests shape the next version, down to the free and Max plans.

  6. Build for the long run

Tests, documentation and monitoring come with the product: 547 test files in WorkoutGen (October 2026), Ragmir open source.

FAQ

About jCode's products

Who created these products?

Jean-Baptiste Thery, through jCode. He created Ragmir and co-founded WorkoutGen, whose entire technical side he built as sole technical owner.

Can I use WorkoutGen on my phone?

Yes. It is on the App Store, Google Play and the Microsoft Store, and installs as a web app in compatible browsers.

Is Ragmir open source?

Yes. Its code is public on GitHub and its package on npm, under AGPL-3.0-only from version 3, with a separate commercial licence. Earlier releases keep their published licence.

Can I connect Ragmir to my existing tools?

Yes, through its command line, its TypeScript API or its MCP server. A connected tool that receives passages applies its own data policy.

Do these products use AI?

Yes. WorkoutGen's AI coach suggests loads, analyses progress and adjusts training after every session. Ragmir is agentic RAG: it gives coding agents such as Claude Code and Codex cited passages from your code and documents.

Can jCode develop a product for my business?

Yes. The freelance services cover web and mobile app development, the takeover of existing applications, AI features like WorkoutGen's, MCP servers like Ragmir's and technical consulting, fully remote. Share your needs through Malt or LinkedIn.
