Emy Biscuits: the first online shop of an artisan biscuit brand

I built Emy Biscuits France's first online shop from scratch, in a Jamstack architecture. Customers personalise their biscuits and pay online through Snipcart, and the brand manages its own catalogue in Strapi.

Context

An artisan brand opening its first shop online

Emy Biscuits France makes artisan biscuits. The brand needed its first e-commerce site, with a catalogue it could manage itself, a cart and online payment.

Approach

How I worked for Emy Biscuits

Brief and my role
A first online shop, built from scratch: I owned the whole full-stack scope.
Constraints
A small brand managing its own catalogue, and a shop that had to stay fast and secure without a heavy server to run.
Technical decisions
Jamstack: the storefront in Nuxt and Vue.js with Tailwind CSS, the catalogue in Strapi with PostgreSQL, and Snipcart for the cart and payments.
Checks and releases
I put the site into production and handled its complete deployment on Heroku.
