HelloPrêt: modernising a mortgage simulation platform

I modernised HelloPrêt's mortgage simulation platform in two months, from its migration to Astro and Svelte to a custom Strapi CMS. Technical SEO was part of the build, with semantic HTML, meta tags on every page and JSON-LD structured data, and the interface was fully redesigned.

Three goals for the platform

HelloPrêt's simulators estimate borrowing capacity, refinancing savings and notary fees. The modernisation aimed for faster pages with better search visibility, a CMS the business teams could use on their own, and a more modern interface that is easier to use.

How I worked for HelloPrêt

Brief and my role: The whole platform needed modernising, and I carried out the work end to end.
Constraints: Two months for everything, and business teams who had to manage content without a developer.
Technical decisions: Astro with Svelte for performance, SEO treated as part of the build, a custom CMS on Strapi and PostgreSQL, and a complete redesign of the interface.
Checks and releases: Safe releases through continuous integration and deployment on Netlify.
